The stars and the sky are owned by the enemy and without anything bigger or better to offer, UNSCDF sends waves of AV-14 Hornets to intercept enemy Banshees, Phantoms and even bigger aircrafts.
In the african sky UNSC Hornets dare to approach a CCS-Class Cruiser while intercepting a wave of Covenant Banshees. In the last defense of Earth the fear of approaching a Covenant warship was nothing compared to the fear of losing the beloved planet
